FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What applications are uPVC French doors best suited to?
French doors are a strong choice anywhere you want a wider clear opening with maximum glazing. They are commonly fitted as rear garden access from a kitchen, living room or dining room, as the entrance to a porch, sunroom or conservatory, or as a Juliet balcony configuration on upper floors. The inward and outward opening options mean they can also be used on fire and safety door applications where an open-out configuration is required.
The profile is compatible with our uPVC window range, so they sit well on elevations where the windows are coming from the same place. Tell us the application and we will confirm the right configuration before you order.
