FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a flush casement and a standard casement window?
On a standard casement, the sash sits proud of the outer frame when closed — you can see the overlap. On a flush casement, the face of the sash sits level with the outer frame, so the whole window looks flat from the exterior.
The flush finish is what replicates the look of original timber windows, and it is the main reason customers and planners on period properties prefer it over a standard casement.
